I thoroughly enjoyed reading the case study on Whole Foods. It is always an enjoyable experience for me to learn about a particular organization’s values, especially one that I patronize. Moreover, it is disenchanting to learn that companies in one’s community do not have those community members’ best interest at heart. Occurrences like this happens all too frequently. Communities are left in ruins at times due to the actions of organization leaders that affect employees and the community at large. After gaining better insight into Whole Foods’ core values, there were two factors that appealed to me the most. I was most intrigued by Whole Foods’ commitment to servant leadership and the support of internal and external stakeholders. For example,
