This refer to a mechanism where customers’ preferences and opinions on a company’s services and products are collected then they are analyzed in order to get new business insights then act on these insights in a manner to bring a shared gain between the company and the customers. Whole Food Company has used social media as its main avenue to understanding the needs and preference of the customers. The social media agents mainly used by consumers to voice out their desires are: twitter, facebook, you tube, instagram, Pinterest, G+ and LinkedIn.
