Greetings, fellow Yankees. I’m sure many of you have heard the rumors going around, but here I am to inform you guys on the real facts. The government is a key part of the structures that support America and the people of it. Ratifying the Constitution would provide protection, regulate business, and allow for a plan to amend the Constitution as needed. The government also has many smaller jobs that often go unnoticed, but they are all important. Let me quote Alexander Hamilton by saying, “The vigour of government is essential to the security of liberty.”

The uneducated people of America don’t understand the importance of taxes. Without taxes, the whole country would crumble to pieces. There would be no money for schools to educate the younger generations of America. As talked about previously, the military and Navy are very important to the country. Taxes provide the military and Navy with the money to supply them ammunition, health care, and essential supplies to serve our county with. In the long run, not having taxes would indeed put you in danger by weakening our country 's protection. Tax money also ensures that the roads you use and travel on are safe and convenient for you. As people of America, we take our freedoms for granat. Without taxes, protection, smoothly run businesses, and being able to amend the Constitution as needed the country will not prosper. The Constitution is a foundation for our country to grow and become one of the finest in the world. We need to use the Constitution to better our lives. Benjamin Franklin once said, “The U.S. Constitution doesn’t guarantee happiness, only the pursuit of it. You have to catch up with it yourself.” By ratifying the Constitution, we give our whole country the opportunity to better itself. It’s time we support the government in this decision.
