These mass shootings are usually caused by a single individual with access to a plethora of ammunition and firearms. Every recent shooter’s face is unforgettable for their cruel actions on the defenseless innocents. Dylan Roof murdered nine people in a church in South Carolina in hopes to start a race war. Adam Lanza slaughtered 27 grade school children and school faculty in Connecticut. James Holmes massacred 12 people in a movie theatre in Colorado. These three murders are the reason behind emphasis for more gun control. Each man had access to an enormous amount of weaponry. The two ways to prevent any further incident such as the ones listed have not been so successful. Each mass shooter had a hardcore motive that led them to pick up a gun and find lives to ruin. They spent time gathering the arms they needed and carefully strategized their plans. Any person can agree that the effort they put into causing a tragedy was fueled by pure insanity. People began to ponder how to prevent a person with a cruel motive from gaining the deadly tools they need. Law officials began to analyze each shooter and concluded that they all possessed some form of mental or emotional instability. The public must first pay no mind to the farfetched fears of someone like Alex Jones. A solution needs to be able to prevent these mass shootings that are becoming more frequent in the U.S. A solution must be created that makes it hard for criminals to become armed while allowing trustful civilians to arm themselves. A solution that satisfies both sides is quite possible. The way to control guns, is actually not focusing on the guns themselves. It is more crucial to focus on the bullets that fuel there deadly capabilities. Most mass shooters have enough ammunition in storage to take out a small army. There is no real reason to store more ammo than needed to defend one household or person. That is why the most perfect solution to end the gun control debate is the enactment of bullet control. This enactment would have to be enforced at the state level since each state has varying degrees of crime. The concept of bullet control is very trivial. A legal gun owner who passed the back ground test is qualified to receive a free box of ammunition in order to protect their person at all times. A legal gun owner is issued two or three free boxes of ammo in order to protect a household. This is the ultimate plan because it still protects everyone’s right to own any gun they like, but limiting the amount of ammunition needed to cause harm to a massive group of
