According to Baack (2012), there are four different levels of conflicts. The four levels of conflict are intrapersonal conflict, interpersonal conflict, intragroup conflict, and intergroup conflict. Those four levels of conflict have to be identified before the resolution process takes place. Intrapersonal conflict takes place with one person. Interpersonal conflict takes place with more than one person. Intragroup conflict takes place with members of a group and intergroup conflict takes place between various groups.

Those steps are identifying the parties who are involved, identifying the issues, identifying the positions of the parties, finding the bargaining zone, and making a decision. The supervisor or manager has to find out who is involved in the conflict and what the real issues are and what position in the conflict each person played. Conflict outcomes can be both positive and negative but it is sometimes harder to achieve positive outcomes (Baack, 2012). Management should be very calm and supportive when handling conflict in the workplace. They should also take control and demand a more appropriate and acceptable behavior or take necessary steps to create a healthier work environment for
