Having access to affordable, quality health care is a right that all citizens should have. The Donabedian model provide a framework for examining the quality of healthcare services by organizing information into three categories structure, process, and outcome. Structure is the context by which health care is delivered. Process is the patient, provider interactions through out healthcare delivery. Outcome analyze how the healthcare provided have an effect on patients. The primary hospital I will be reviewing is University Hospital and clinics, an acute care hospital located in Lafayette Louisiana.
