The second topic was a collaborative leadership. This topic was explained a definition of the collaborative leadership. The definition of the collaborative leadership, people who come from different teams work together with a special purpose and share mutual benefits. The collaborative is dissimilar from a participative and a cooperative. In this topic described the history of the collaborative, it was combined by two organizations between private and public organizations for improving the public infrastructure, then they performed more effectively in this project. A person who is an effective collaborative leadership should able to take risk, to be a good listener, to drive and achieve goal, to think in a positive way in the future and to …show more content…
The advantage of a collaboration helps companies make more profit, reduce costs of operations and improve performances. For example, in airlines business, one flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong, they may combine three airlines in one route. It is a strategy to reduce cost of cabin crew, fuel and operation. From this lesson, it helps me to understand that business cannot work alone. It should have partners in the business, should have workers that have the skills and abilities to work and have more customers. My personal goal, I would like to work in my family business. The reason I studied the master degree specialization in the global leadership, I have to earn knowledge about management field, knows how to be a good leader in the future, know how to manage employees and deal with issues. I decided to study in Canada because here is use English language, so I can improve and practice my English communication and written skills. English language is a main language to communicate people around the world. The other good thing to study abroad, I can have more friends who come from many different countries. They can be my connections for my business in the near future. People who have more connection, they are more opportunities to grow in business. Before I work in my family business, I have to earn enough knowledge and more experience to work in the business from other companies around three to five years. During the time that I work in other company, I will learn how to work in my family business. I believe an effective leadership should have an abilities to do tasks from the fundamental business and to know in the whole picture of business.
