Many people tend to feel gladder and act better when they feel like they are formulating worthy contributions to the final outcome of a situation but since authoritative leaders stereotypically do not acknowledge input from others, these individuals start to feel discontented and compelled to do as their leader says. This situation is most clearly portrayed by Lady Macbeth and Macbeth in Source A, where Lady Macbeth is seen to be commanding Macbeth to kill Kind Duncan as she starts to manipulate him with her harsh words. Macbeth starts off explaining that he wants to enjoy the great delight and honors King Duncan has brought upon him, but it turns out that he doesn't have a chance against his wife's dictated scorn. Lady Macbeth says that it is the perfect opportunity to kill King Duncan and Macbeth is contemplating about backing out which shows to Lady Macbeth that he is less than a noble man and Lady Macbeth goes on to say that she's more man than he is. Macbeth realizes that this is the end and there is no way to get him out of this situation. He then goes on to question this plan and what if something goes wrong but Lady Macbeth strictly tells him that she knows what to do and that he must follow through with her plan. Lady Macbeth
