In the book THE BIG SHORT (TBS) written by Michael Lewis, he depicts a true event that has a multitude of dispositions throughout the reading. Despite the several other characters to choose from, Steve Eisman fits the personality of a college student based on the novel. His abundance of characteristic traits is easy for countless students to relate to. Mannerisms such as: outspoken, curiosity, honesty, sarcasm, intelligence, and his ability to think outside the box. Even though some of these traits by name may seem opposed, with certainty Mr. Eisman would not be who he is without them. Making him the most comparable person to students of this generation in universities.

Reverting back to being outspoken, which was talked about earlier, being straightforward relates to honesty. In the sense of being honest and frank, but doesn’t mean that its always approving. Mr. Eisman was supremely high-minded when it came to what he thought was right and wrong. If he was not fond of your answer or viewpoint on a situation he was quick to inform you of his thoughts. Occasionally being honest can cause discomfort and irritation towards others. Well college students are taught the academic code of honesty and integrity. Steve’s ability to think outside the box like many others is the reason why this book was written. At this point most of America is unaware of the incident bout to take place. Temporally being blinded by erroneous data provide by the big banks stating the housing market will not plummet. Instead of going off the data being provided, Mr. Eisman seen the market in a different picture then majority of people. Allowing him and others to capitalize on the opportunity when it presented
