There are many types of written communication in the world today. There are of two main types of communication that people use daily. These two are oral communication which means is the process of expressing information or ideas by word of mouth and written communications which means involves any type of message that makes use of the written word. Today we are focusing more on written communication that involves any type of message that makes use of the written word. Written communication is very important for a business major because written communication is also important for instructing employees on certain tasks and projects, documents ensure clarity among employees and minimize the chance for any misunderstanding and managers must use written communication in the form of reports or presentations. Everything now is about writing because of technology.
We find that we are using written communication in forms such as email and text message. Many times we find that a lot of people really don’t know the difference between personal and business writing styles when communicating with others. Other examples of written communication are generally used with clients or other business settings that include internet websites, letters, proposals, telegrams, faxes, postcards, contracts, advertisements, brochures, and news releases.
