T. E. Clinic Case Study

The T.H.E. Clinic was started in 1974, by a group of volunteers in the medical field, whose goal was to bring accessible and quality health care to women and families, living in South Los Angeles, who had no health insurance. This mission statement of the facility is, “T.H.E. Health and Wellness Centers, Inc. improves the health and well-being of the Los Angeles communities we serve by providing excellent and affordable preventive, primary and behavioral health care, accessible to all.” And the vision statement (2013-2018) is, “T.H.E. Health and Wellness Centers, Inc. will be the medical home of choice for 30,000 patients; T.H.E. Health and Wellness Centers, Inc. will be an innovator in designing and providing evidence-based community health solutions that measurably improve the health of the people we serve. T.H.E. Health and Wellness Centers, Inc. will be an accountable leader by exceeding quality and efficiency standards for our patients; and T.H.E.
