The Internet is a fast, convenient way for people to communicate with other people around the world. Social networks help provide employment opportunities by improving the job search process. “In surveys, a majority of people find their next position via an introduction through networking (Hein ,2014).” Business owners are also able to retain feedback from consumers faster through social networks, such as, Twitter. If you are someone who is working in an industry and pursuing a leadership role, blogs and columns maybe a social network for you. According to Hein, writing a blog is a great way to share your knowledge, insight and show off your troubleshooting prowess. “In a world where things are constantly changing, like business models, people and technology, social media and networking have become a necessary part of the formula for success (Hein ,2014).” In today’s society, you have to stay on top of your game, which means finding information outside of the office that can improve how you grow as a company and as an individual.

Children use the Internet to research for school papers or assignments, playing games, and social networking. Just because kids know a lot about using the Internet does not mean that they know very much about Internet safety. Kids do not always know when they are in danger on the Internet.
