Abstract
Social media is an electronic medium of communication that occur through the use of two or more electronic device that allow human being to initiate, share or exchange information, ideas, pictures, videos including chatting and talking. In today’s world, Social media is playing very important role which influenced the lifestyle of people. Social media has impact the social life. The paper probes how the contemporary media is redefining the social roles. This paper based on primary data help to explain impact of social media on youth as well as society.

The social technology or media in every aspect is supporting a meaningful objective. Social media sites have provided a platform whereby the youth can create groups and pages based on their common discipline and end up building opportunities for their respective careers by various topics to discuss. Youth whoever been interviewed they say that social media has become their lifestyle. Social media helps the youth and any other user updated with what is happening around the world, help teenager stay connected with each other even if they are many miles apart. This strengthens their relationship even if they finished school shifted to different locations. It has now become so easy and efficient to send pictures in single link. Users tag their photo and allow people to comment and like on them. Instagram, Flicker and Picasa are most popular photo sharing sites. Youth engage in social media mostly for entertainment, for fun and for games. Youth nowadays are addicted on games online. As mentioned Social media is now becoming addiction, every teenager has an accent and they login to check new update. Some teens connect in insecure and irresponsible activities, unsafe expose of personal information, addiction resulting in lack of healthy commitment in major areas of life, such as academics that become serious problem in student life. Conclusion
Social media is worldwide communication channel used to share, discuss or deliver information within online communities. It makes an easier platform to share information online. Social media reach out to certain groups that traditional media did not allow you to, because social media is for each and every one, sooner or later you will come across people you never thought of as your client. This opens the door to establish new relationship but also a valuable feedback that can help you develop your programs and services brilliantly. Our finding completely based on questionnaire which may be biased. On the basis of our questionnaire we can say that social media play very important role in youth life.
