Texting could be misunderstood by the receiving end (Keller 1). When texting, people tend to not use proper grammar and spelling. Literary language continues to decrease as people use visual language such as emojis. Errors in punctuation can lead to misinterpretations of the sentence. The wife in “Home Burial” interprets the speaker’s surprise of seeing the graveyard through a hole as a sign of ignorance, while the husband is curious to see what makes the hole interesting (Frost 716). Emotions could be understood better by spending time away from technology as only humans could understand emotions (Wolper 1).
