In the article “Are We Puppets in a Wired World”, Sue Halpern presents an interesting outline of the development of the internet over the years. The internet has changed drastically and quickly since it first came about and is still changing today. One of these big changes that Halpern points out is the emergence of social media and how it can be connected to almost every aspect of our lives. Now individuals are able to stay connected no matter where they are in the world.
