Sacrifice

A sacrifice is a loss or something you give up, usually for the sake of a better cause. Parents sacrifice time and sleep to take care of their children, while kids sacrifice tv and videogames for their mom and or dad. There is another person or people called veterans. Veterans sacrifice their lives all of the time for our country. They take time out of their family and life to protect the U.S.A.

Veterans take their time everyday for us and I thank the Lord everyday because of it. They are so helpful to everybody in this country, and we should all be thankful for that. “I know I am.” Veterans always have tributes. A tribute is part of respect. Respect is what you get if you give it your all

For veterans, sacrifice is a constant in their lives, be it the sacrifices they make at home, to leave their family and friends behind them for their country's sake, or on enemy lines, when they're selflessly putting their lives at stake for us. Everything this country is built on is protected by veterans’ blood, sweat, tears, and hard work. These sacrifices and their work are what make veterans so important. They pledge their lives to ensuring our safety and well-being, and when they come home, there is nothing to distinguish them from an everyday person.…
