Government Defunding of Planned Parenthood Abortions “As a nation, we gamble with the lives of those who do not yet have a voice to defend themselves for the sake of allowing women to escape the consequences of their previous decisions by removing every possible future decision from the children dependent on their bodies for growth and development” (Waltman). Everyday Planned Parenthood performs abortions funded by the government. The government funding of abortions needs to stop. With the government funding these abortions, it now allows them to escape their consequences and literally not have to pay for it. The government should not fund Plan Parenthood’s Abortions because Planned Parenthood has been accused of fraud with taxpayers dollars, …show more content…

These same people believe that women should be able to make the choice whether they should keep their baby or kill it. These beliefs do not make sense. If a women should be able to make the choice then the child should have a say in whether or not they want to live. Since they innocent babies cannot do that, the women should not have a choice on whether or not they can kill the baby. If women are allowed to have the choice then they should be punished for murder along with the doctor that performed the abortion. With that abortion is not safe. There are many risks when having an abortion.
Planned Parenthood shouldn’t be funded by the government. Without government funding planned parenthood would not be able to keep its doors open. Therefore the world would be a better place because they would not be able to perform abortions. Plan parenthood performs on average 324,000 abortions a year (Life Site News). Our world would be a better place if all those children would’ve been able to live. Some of those children could have changed the world, but nobody will ever know because some mother decided to end their life before they even got to live

Planned Parenthood vs. Right-Wing Conservatives Planned Parenthood is a non-profit, government funded organization that provides mostly women’s health services (abortion, STD screening, birth control). Recently, a heavily edited video was released by the Center for Medical Progress that provides alleged evidence of the non-profit Planned Parenthood receiving “compensation” for aborted fetal tissue. Obviously, this video brought up concerns and much controversy between those in support of and against Planned Parenthood. Conservatives in Congress now believe Planned Parenthood no longer deserves government funding; however, Planned Parenthood provides useful and sometimes life-saving services to men and women, therefore demonstrates a pressing…

Planned Parenthood should not lose any funding or be shut down. Despite recent abortion controversies, Planned Parenthood should not be held responsible for pro-abortion advocates. The organization is pro-choice, and intends to give the choice back to the people in order to allow them to choose a better life for themselves. If Planned Parenthood loses its funding or gets shut down, people everywhere, but especially low-income families, will be put in a difficult standing in affordable health care and wellness. Furthermore, shutting down Planned Parenthood would put many people at a greater health risk than they have now, and worst yet, it will not end abortion.…

Kimberly Ross of Red State says “In fact, Planned Parenthood has so much money on hand that they spent $38 million on campaigns this year to put Hillary in the White House and pro-abort candidates in Congress.” Now that is a lot of money to be spent on something that has nothing to do with the patients of Planned Parenthood. To me it just seems unjust that people are paying taxes to the government for abortions while the Planned Parenthood business gets to play with tax dollars from the government to support a candidate’s…

Imagine a world where a small group of people could destroy a nation-wide organization with slanderous lies. If the Republicans in Congress get their way, Americans wouldn’t have to imagine. By preventing Planned Parenthood from receiving federal money, it means people with government funded health care cannot use it for the services provided at the clinics. Many people do not know the exact statistics of the services Planned Parenthood provide, and because of that they may have skewed ideas of the clinic. Without federal funding Planned Parenthood patients who use government provided health care would have to pay for all of the services of the clinic out of their own pocket (Bassett). For people with private health care, this would not be an issue, but for others who lack the money to pay for private health care, they may be in trouble. Planned Parenthood has said that two-thirds of their patients are “low-income and have no other primary health care provider” (Bassett).…

Women’s rights has been an issue in the United States since the early 1800’s and until all people are comfortable discussing the fact that in many parts of the world, women have no say in what they can do with their bodies or how it’s treated. A woman should be the only one who can decide what is best for her body. There is only so much that women can do when the one place that helps women with checkups and abortion based questions, Planned Parenthood, is being defunded or closed down. “The House of Representatives is expected to pass a budget reconciliation bill that guts the Affordable Care Act, pulls roughly $450 million in federal assistance from Planned Parenthood and prevents Medicaid recipients from getting reimbursed…
