Personal Statement: Macaulay Honors College Career And Internship Fair

I’m writing to express my keen interest in your accounting internship which I heard about at the Macaulay Honors College Career and Internship Fair.

As sophomore at the Macaulay Honors College at Baruch College, I plan to major in accounting. The business courses I’ve taken up to this point have prepared me well for this internship, giving me experience in data entry, ledger management, MS Excel, Office, Access, and Outlook. Moreover, my volunteering experiences at All Souls Friday Soup Kitchen and as the Gym Supervisor at Our Lady of Mercy Parish have taught me valuable organizational and leadership skills.

Additionally, I excel in:
• Taking instruction and executing assigned tasks
• Working in an organized and timely manner
• Multitasking
