Importance Of Balance Essay

Balance. I never considered myself to be the most balanced person and honestly as a parent I still don 't. As you might already know, the life of a parent is very unpredictable, fast, nonstop and leaves you at the edge of your seat. Between cooking, cleaning, baths, Dr. appointments, playtime, work, ministry, practice, and many other things, where do you find consistent balance in the midst of all that? I wanted to start a series that emphasized the real struggle of parents trying to manage most facets of their lives, which falls into one word, Balance. I think so. Please don 't think for one moment that by writing about this topic that I have figured it all out and that my life is as balanced as it can be, I just want to share what I 've learned the last two years and am still learning today and hopefully it can be of help to a father out there. Balancing Act blog series will …show more content…
God put them in your life for a reason. As a father do what you feel is best and right for you kids but don 't be afraid of change. Balance and routine are great things and I encourage it but don 't be afraid to break out of it from time to time. Also don 't ever let anything get in the way of spending quality time with your kids. You think it might not have value but to them it does. Trust me, I know a thing or two about not having a dad around (which I will cover in future topics to come). At any given day things can get out of balance but it 's OK it 's is a part of parenting and it is a life long journey of learning and more

English Composition I taught me a lot about myself, including how to be a better college student, through the process of writing. At the beginning of the year, I was not very excited about having to write argumentative papers. This is because I did not care enough about the assigned topics to have an opinion. But, I did learn a lot that I would not have known otherwise from having to research information about the topics I chose to write about.
