Personal Narrative: My Trip To The Medical Field

Recounting the times where I experience failure was probably in high school. Entering high school I had no clue what was going on. All I knew was that I was going to the medical field which in this case I had to take multiple science classes. I was afraid to talk about my issues with anyone. I had a fear that my friends, family, or whoever I would talk to would disregard my ideas and thoughts on what I must do in the future. Everyone thought I was not meant to go to the medical field. Pushing all those negative comments to the side, I logged onto the computer and typed in what classes I had to take during high school to major the medical field. A lot of the sites were giving me many answers and opinions to decide on. I found one website indicating that if …show more content…
was an easier class to take, rather than biology. On what I dig up from my memory, I survived the class probably with a passing grade. Going into sophomore year in high school, I chose regular biology 1-2 as my science class. I also survived this class with a B, thinking that the medical path was the right way for me. Biology was not that difficult at first but then, when it came to junior year I took human anatomy/physiology. It was a very different class compared to biology 1-2. When I signed up for human anatomy, I thought I was ready to receive a passing grade in that class as well. Until I was noticing myself failing the class and suffering from passing the class. I thought to myself, is the medical path the right way for me to go. The medical field might not be a rough road for me to go, but I still could not give up on my dream. Even though I was failing that class, I did not want to give up just because of one mistake that I made. One time I thought about dropping the class. But I thought about it for a moment, and I could not understand myself from running away for one mistake that I made and shattering my future. It was very soon when I was reaching the doors to
