At 6:00 in the morning, I got ready to go to Disneyland with my friend, Giselle, and her family. I was so excited, yet scared at the same time, for I had never been before. I felt like I was waiting for a thousand years for Giselle’s family to come pick me up. When they finally got to my house, I gave Giselle her present, said bye to my parents, and was officially on my way to Disneyland. While we were in the car, we laughed at the weirdest things as if we were hyenas. Finally, we found somewhere to eat breakfast that was pretty close to our destination. That place was Jack in the Box! While we ate, Giselle and I talked about which rides we were going to get on. Well, she talked more than I did because although I have never been there before, …show more content…
Anyways, for lunch, I had a burger, fries, and some apple juice. During our lunch break, we watched a reenactment of the movie, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Towards the end of the trip, we went on Space Mountain. The line was really long, but luckily we had a front of the line pass. When we were on the ride, we saw, clearly, space. The ride was going so fast that I felt like my cheeks were going to fly off. In the middle of the roller coaster, however, the ride came to a sudden stop. I was so scared, but it was surprisingly cool. If you were to look at the bottom of the tracks you would see wires and little patches of darkness, which made the situation even worse. Finally, two men came and pushed the roller coaster to the end of the ride. Unfortunately, this was the last ride of the night. Before we headed home, I made a quick stop at the shop to get my little sister some souvenirs. While we were in the car, I and Giselle went to sleep right away. The next thing I knew, I was in front of my house saying goodbye to Giselle’s family. This was one of my greatest memories and I will never forget the day that I went to Disneyland for the first

There are many genetic traits out there in the world, but if I could only have one that I could pass down to future generations, it would be The Force from Star Wars. I would want to have The Force because I would be able to read and control everyone's mind, and I would be able to move objects, no matter how big or small. I could, dare I say it, rule the world. I would be able to save people with the Force and help prevent future attacks from occuring. I could also help the government by getting involved with the CIA, and by using my special abilities, I could search for terrorists and fugitives that have escaped.…

A Jedi In the Making As I cautiously draw out my newly constructed lightsaber, harnessed by the “Force” and ignite it blue half way in midair, I keep my focus steady on my opponent, Darth Vader the Sith Master, as he assumes his own en garde stance for an epic lightsaber duel. In a flash, my combatant casts his dark cloak aside and clashes his red blade against mine. The yellow tint from the interlocked sabers, illuminates the deep mass of evil behind the mask.…

The soundtrack of Star Wars can also be considered a "Signifier of emotion [in which]: Soundtrack music may set specific moods and emphasize particular emotions suggested in the narrative, but first and foremost, it is a signifier of emotion itself. "(Gorbman cited in, Kassabian, 2001, p.40) In the previous original trilogy it has already been established that deeper, bass tones, in a minor key, signifies an ominous, threatening, and darker emotion connected to scenes with characters from the ‘dark side of the Force’ present. This marker of the ‘dark side’ is upheld in the scenes with Anakin and his final transition to the ‘dark side’. Whereas the calmer notes present around the presence of ‘good’, and the score playing when Obi Wan Kenobi first…

Due to my ADD I have always struggle with memory and I have to set reminders for the most basic of tasks but when it comes to Star Wars trivia I can remember anything. When I was five years old I went to watch Revenge of the Sith in theaters with my dad and I can remember it like it was yesterday. All of a sudden the theater got really quiet and the only thing on the screen was a single sentence in blue lettering my dad leaned down and whispered “ A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.” My mouth dropped at utter amazement as John Williams famous theme sounded everyone was reading the yellow text floating up the screen. Throughout the movie I would bug my father “when is the next fight scene” not realizing that this is the first time he had seen this.…

I had never had so much fun with obnoxiously loud carnival music blasting in my ears, small children stupidly goofing off in front of me, and the smell of food that was so greasy it made my stomach turn.
