Personal Narrative: Star Wars

Due to my ADD I have always struggle with memory and I have to set reminders for the most basic of tasks but when it comes to Star Wars trivia I can remember anything. When I was five years old I went to watch Revenge of the Sith in theaters with my dad and I can remember it like it was yesterday. All of a sudden the theater got really quiet and the only thing on the screen was a single sentence in blue lettering my dad leaned down and whispered “ A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.” My mouth dropped at utter amazement as John Williams famous theme sounded everyone was reading the yellow text floating up the screen. Throughout the movie I would bug my father “when is the next fight scene” not realizing that this is the first time he had seen this. …show more content…
From that day on I felt something new that I can only describe as a drive to learn everything about the saga. To this day I am still a die hard fan learning new facts and have grown a passion for making my own star wars adventures. My passion for Star Wars has unlocked many doors for me such as when I saw the clone wars animated tv show air I wanted to help, so I started making my own stories and learning how to animate. Star Wars also drove me to start working in film I am using my animation skills to add graphic effects to those short films. My animation has also pushed me into trying to learn how to make video games and code on computers. My dream is to someday work for Star Wars apart of the Lucasarts story group and contribute to what I
