I turned around to look at Luke, who looked just as frustrated as I did.
I walked over to Luke’s desk and pulled out a chair to sit opposite from him. “Okay look, neither one of us want to be partners so let’s just grit our teeth and finish this and quickly as possible, okay?” “You don’t hear me complaining” Luke huffed.

It says in the book of acts that "and they said, believe on the lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, And thy house" (act 16:31, KJV). Looking back on my passed five years of knowing Jesus I would describe it as a rollercoaster ride. Back in sixith grade I was going through a transition from Crosswalk to Hang time, Elementary School to middle school, and ultimately finding who I was and knowing Jesus. It was my 2011 Hangtime Winter Whiteout when I accepted Jesus into my life. Every year we do this thing called " Cry Night " that Winter Whiteout in particular we watched clips from "The Passion of Christ " and it was to the song " How He Loves " by David Crowder.…

There are many genetic traits out there in the world, but if I could only have one that I could pass down to future generations, it would be The Force from Star Wars. I would want to have The Force because I would be able to read and control everyone's mind, and I would be able to move objects, no matter how big or small. I could, dare I say it, rule the world. I would be able to save people with the Force and help prevent future attacks from occuring. I could also help the government by getting involved with the CIA, and by using my special abilities, I could search for terrorists and fugitives that have escaped.…

I find myself fascinated listening to this man. I sit here amongst a crowd of hundreds of men, women, and children. We are all amazed at the knowledge that he speaks. The Broader Context: The Gospel of Luke In order to best understand how to properly interpret Luke 16:1-13, it is best to first read the passage in light of its surrounding context—the entire book of Luke. In his introduction, Luke clearly states his purpose in writing this gospel: “so that you may know the exact truth about the things you have been taught,” (Luke 1:4). This is Luke 's purpose statement, but what is the truth the Luke is trying to demonstrate? The main theme Luke wants to convey, this “exact truth,” in his gospel is that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messianic Servant to all humankind.…
