In the spring of 2015 I decided to go to California to visit my best friend Josie. I left on Monday and came home on Friday. The first day in California was very short because my plane landed at 9:00 pm. Josie and her mom picked me up from the airport and when I saw her I ran up and gave her a big huge. we were so excited to see each other. Then we drove to Josie’s house. All we were able to that night was watch a movie but we did stay up most of the night talking and catching up for I haven’t see her in about 6 months. She told me about how much fun she was having living in California. “I love my new neighborhood it’s so close to a whole bunch of shops and it’s so warm here all the time and sense we have a pool I and go swimming any time …show more content…
When we were done eating we headed out the door and got in to the car. The drive was about a half hour and we started to get bored so we decided to play the ABC game were the first person had the later A and they would have to say their name, their husband’s name, were they lived and what they sealed but your name and your husband’s name and where you lived and what you sealed had to start with an A. The second person had to do the same thing but with the later B and the third person had the later C and it went on and on till you got to the letter Z. I started with A “my name is Alley my husbands name is Alvin we live in Austen and we sale apples” I said. Then it was Josie’s turn “my name is Brittney my husbands name is Brian we live in Boston and we sale bracelets” said …show more content…
The first time we went on the roller coaster is was so much fun we put our hands up and we screamed the lintier time. we went on that ride about ten times it had a big loop and steep drops and sharp terns after that we went on the fares weal. The whole time we were mostly taking pictures. We made series faces funny faces and appsolutly insane faces. And we even videoed each other. When the fares weal came to a stop we were very happy I felt like we were on it for an hour. “Is it just me or do you feel like that took an hour” I said. “it’s not just you” said Josie. The next ride we went on well I can’t remember what it was called exactly but it was my favorite. It spun you around and around so fast my hair was flying all over the place. Me and Josie hade to yell for us to here each other and the line was so long it took us like 20 minutes just to ride it. Next we went to the photo booth. It was really small and it only let us take one photo. Then we got hungry so we got some burgers, it was the best burger I ever had it was like heaven in my mouth but all the food there so expense, 13 dollars for one burger and no fries and the little shops that they had there were ridicules. After we ate we got some cotton candy and took some more pictures. Then we went and played a game, the coin toss game, the one where you toss the coin into the bottle. Neither me nor Josie got a prize

There was a rush through my body thinking, Wow, that was fun!! We have gone on a lot more rides, by the end of the day. My favorite ride was that there was three different slides that are pitch dark and you get one soft mate and you go up a small set of wooden stairs then you race down the slide and the reason I loved it was because it takes about four seconds to get to the bottom of the slide but it feels like it takes a minute. A lot of the rides were fun some scary, and some adrenaline pumping. Ashley was tired and we had went on the rides we wanted to go on, so we had paid to get are belongings.…

When we got there, we decided to go in the single riders line, since the single riders line is usually faster than the regular line. And so we waited and after what seemed like a million years (actually milliseconds), we finally got to get on the ride. “Finally, we get to get on the ride,” I said. And it started out pretty slow,…

Two thousand five hundred eighty-seven. I could take an eight-hour flight or a casual thirty-seven-hour drive, but no matter what, I am still two thousand five hundred eighty-seven miles away from my home in New Haven, Connecticut. Being a college freshman, trying to juggle class, homework, projects, studying, sleeping, eating, and athletics; finding the travel time to go home is an almost impossible task. Add in the cost of the $600 flights round trip and there is no chance a student can go visit home when they feel a little homesick. I on the other hand had never even fathomed being homesick from the frozen tundra I called home.…

It was the largest, most thrilling roller coaster yet to be found. I didn't believe it but knowing my best friend Prisa she was not gonna let me miss out on as she would always say, “once in a lifetime opportunities”. It was a hot, sunny day as the sun lit up the whole park. The blunt air had no wind or even a soft gentle breeze. It was just plain old humid and to add on to that, we were crowded with a solid 200 people in the line,…
