Personal Goals For Active Learners

? As a teacher I want my students to learn to the best of their abilities. I want to pass on the knowledge that I have to my students to prepare them to be active learners. Having daily discussions on class on the material covered this could be accomplish. I will ask them questions such as what do you know about this? What will happen if you do this? etc. This will be enabling them to become critical thinkers and independent learners. I will assign them readings and questions to improve their reading and comprehension skills.

2. What methods could you use to determine students attitudes and feelings concerning your class? The main method that I will use to determine students attitudes and feelings concerning my class is a survey. I will give students a multiple choice survey focus on the methods of teaching they prefer to be utilized by the teacher. Consequently I will adjust or implement teaching strategies that they feel comfortable with. In addition, I will hold short student meaning to talk about how the class is going.

What are your personal goals? My personal goals are to be an effective teacher. I see my self-working as an educator until retirement. I will do this by attending as many educational teacher development trainings. Also by reflecting on the teaching strategies that I utilized constantly on my classes enabling me to adjust them or try new ones to achieve the learning
