The standard of conduct includes common respect, understanding, trust and teamwork necessary for effective collaboration. The surroundings should be free of disruptive behaviors. The nursing workplace is erratic and highly energetic (Kim, Nicotera, & McNulty, 2015). We work in the healthcare field were emotions are high. To prevent a conflict, we must first learn to listen (Beunza, 2013).
