I have decided to complete my project in a physician’s office, which is in Louisville, MS. The size would be based on the number of people that receives service at this location which is approximately a hundred people on average daily. The facility is funded by state and local citizens; therefore, the ownership is private. The population that is served will be the public with open doors to all. The services available would be immunization for all ages, and healthy -you are completed at this facility which is an excellent service and convenient for the local community. Laboratory services are available for various services including phlebotomy services. Nurse practitioner and doctors are available during normal business hours and available on Saturday until noon. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate any accreditation facts on any of the website listed for resources for this location. …show more content…
The two administrators, two coders, and two support services. The therapist is outpatient via the hospital for as the pharmacy will be the patient choice. A drug representative often visits the clinic and leave plenty samples of the prescription medicine that are released to patients as needed.
At times the staff can service the community by complete healthy you or annual exam that is required by Medicaid and Medicare for the various age group. A good resource for the patient is the patient portal available online via the website which allows patient access to their information at different times of the day. This facility utilized paper and electronic medical records that are consisted of hybrid medical record system. The authorized users access this electronic system via login and password the other access such as the paper medical record would be a lock file
