No one ever said that working and going to school time full time would be easy, but it’s all about hard work, dedication and time management. When I graduated high school I knew that my parents wouldn’t be able to afford sending me to college. Coming from a big family with 6 siblings getting a degree would be challenging. One way or another I wasn’t giving up going to college, so I decided to work and go school at the same time.

My educational aspiration consists of obtaining my bachelor’s degree in nursing then continuing my studies on becoming a nurse practitioner. I’ve decided that I would want to specialize in pediatrics as Nurse Practitioner. I have always been good with children and even took part time jobs babysitting our neighbors’ children when I was in high school. I think taking care of people/kids is in my nature and that’s one of the reasons why I wanted to pursue my dreams of being a nurse practitioner specializing in pediatrics. …show more content…
This organization is currently part of Red Cross and Neighbor to Neighbors that does all kinds of volunteer works. In 2012, I was part of the volunteers who helped cleaned up Staten Island NY after the Hurricane Sandy and this organization made it possible for me to do it.
