My Hawaii Vacation
When we first landed in Los Angeles, we knew we only had a 45 minute layover. However, we had to sit on the plane for an additional 30 minutes because there was no empty spot for our plane to go. I knew we had to make the flight from California to Hawaii, because it was the last one of the night. When we were finally able to get off of the airplane, everyone was pushing and shoving to get off the plane. My brother was first off, and the rest of us followed shortly after. When we got inside the airport, we did not see my brother anywhere. All I saw was people everywhere. We knew that he was not that far in front of us, so he couldn’t have gone too far. There was no time to waste at this point, so we decided to just run to the gate to see if my brother was there and if they would let us on the flight. Although none of the options on the menu sounded very appealing, I was so hungry that I just had to eat something. As I was about to take a bite of my salad, I heard someone talking over the intercom, saying that no one was allowed to eat anything for the rest of the flight. I was a little confused, but I figured I would wait an hour or so, and then see if I could eat my dinner. After an hour, I asked the flight attendant if I could eat, and they still said no. I knew that since they were telling everyone they couldn’t eat everything, that something was would happen if I did eat. I looked to my right and saw that someone else decided to eat. I wanted to wait to see if anything happened to him. Shortly after he finished his dinner, he started looking really sick, and before I knew it, he was passed out in his seat.
