Introduction: While observing teachers teach classes this summer, many things that were taught in this semester played out into those real life situations. I observed things such as the use of assessments, what motivates students, learning and teaching styles and classroom development and management. Each of these things will help me to build my career as a teacher.

Field Experience Site: Engineering For Kids (EFK) The field I chose to observe was a summer camp for students grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. In this camp they taught the students what it means to be an engineer. Each day they had a lesson on what an engineer does and how they can be one. They had a project each day as well and had to make something and they also taught a robotics class. One week, they were located at a community center (Group 1), where parents signed their children up for this class. At this site all of the students were white, in both the older and younger classes it was mostly boys with just a few girls. The next week that I observed, they were based at a elementary school in Gainesville for the Boys and Girls Club (Group 2). At this site most of the students were Black or Hispanic. There were 2-3 white children. This group of students was evenly mixed, boys and girls. The first group were older students, late elementary school to middle school ages and the second group was like 5-6 year olds.
