Imagine seeing others being persecuted, and deciding to hide them to save them. Hermine Santruschitz was a woman who decided to do just that for a family, the Frank family.
Hermine Santruschitz aka Miep Gies is an important historical figure because of her life, role in hiding the Franks, and her legacy. Miep Gies lived during the holocaust she also hid a girl by the name of Anne Frank. Who unfortunately was a jew during that time.
