Jeanne Damon was a young teacher in Brussels. Children weren't allowed to go to school, so she felt useless. Fela Perelman, a leading role in an organization to help Jewish children came up to Jeanne. She needed a qualified teacher for those who were left without schools. “She asked Daman to join the staff of her school Nos Petitis, with some 325 children”(http://www.yadvashem.org).
