Teachers alone are not responsible for changing those acquired individual attributes without the support and influence of their family members and their own willingness to learn. As I believe that education does not just takes place only in schools but also takes place outside the school environment such as their homes and outdoors. The social and cultural practices of the family play a significant role in his or her academic success and degree attainment. Teachers can help you learning, but cannot ensure that each child can acquire knowledge in the same way irrespective of their backgrounds. Curriculum Theory
I would like to give a brief introduction about the Indian curriculum and would like to compare with American education system curriculum. In India, we have different education system, state level or centralized. At my state level in Maharashtra, State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education conducts the SSC examination for the 10th grade and HSC examinations for the 12th grade. At the national level, we have the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE). The authorized academic organizations set the curriculum and standard of excellence for the standardized tests conducted annually for the 10th and 12th grades only (Wikipedia, 2016).
