One of the most important thing I have learned in this course that has positively affected my confidence in my writing skills is the concept of writing a “shitty first draft”. Over the course of English 102, I have developed a new set of skills and learned to become a better writer. When I first came into English 102 I struggled with many different concepts of writing. During the semester in English 102, my writing became stronger because I learned how to incorporate evidence into my argument, do more thorough research, have smoother transitions, and have more organization throughout my essay. I learned how to peer review better and to take what others say and incorporate it into my essay. Over the next week or two, we are working on: MATH - rounding 2, 3 and 4 digit numbers to the nearest tens MATH - representing numbers in different ways (e.g., in place value charts, using base-10 blocks, using greater than and less than, on number lines, in equations, in expanded form 4000+200+50+3, in words, etc.) MATH - we are working on checking for errors before submitting our work. Reflection: The way my wardobe is structured, and built is ultimately what helps me make my decision when I getting dressed on an everyday basis. As my wardrobe is one with sliding doors, I am not able to see all my clothes sin one glance. This visibly tricks my eye, and reduces my wardrobe into what is described as a capsule wardrobe (see images below for all the outfits I wore this week). I always considered my-self a “numbers” type of guy than one who excels in writing. Throughout my entire academia english classes have always been and shall be the bane of my school work.
