Final Summative Reflection What assignments/topics created the greatest impression on you in a positive manner? Explain The lesson that created the most impact in a positive manner was the family staff relationships, and virtual field experience. As a future teacher we need to learn to have effective communication with not only other staff members but also with the parents of the children in our classrooms. In currently working in a school setting it gave me better tools to be more effective when having conversations with parents or other staff members. That was the first time I ever had to virtually grow a baby or make any life decision that would affect someone beside myself. It was definitely a good experience and allowed me to see what some of the parents of my students will be going through. I also like that why I was working full time while taking this course it allowed myself to meet the required field work without have to miss any work.
What assignment, if any, made the least impression? Explain thoroughly. The lesson that made the least impression was supported learning at home. Attending a small private school gave me the option to know students who were homeschooled, they were always every quiet and a little strange. Homeschool students are at least learning while they are at home but do lack in social skills area. Unschooling students

Weekly Reflection #1 My biggest take-away from the readings is the author talked about nonprofit competition with For-Profit Businesses. With the development of profit corporate company, nonprofit and voluntary sector faces a lot of challenges and raises difficult questions of strategy. Author analyzed some biggest disadvantages when nonprofit against with profitmaking company. First, nonprofit organizations always don’t have enough budgets and most smaller organizations don’t have enough expectance to deal with the technology and management problems.…

For my final portfolio, I chose to revise a shorter essay, “Potential Ramifications of a Trump Presidency,” and a longer essay, “Assignment 7: Finding Place Research Project.” I chose these two essays specifically because of their differences. The former is shorter, more informal, and includes more of my thoughts and opinions. The latter is a longer research paper, and thus is more formal and less biased as I attempted to give a brief history of gentrification and its impacts on East Liberty.…

The most precious lesson I learned from English 382 is how to participate, interact, coordinate, corporate and communicate with others and with myself. As an introvert who is used to complete the critical thinking process with oneself, it was significantly to have another individual join me through the thinking process. Therefore, the first few peer discussion in class seemed extremely challenging for me. However, in a long term,. I was able to develop my communication skill and my confidence, and utilized my advantages to contribute within the community.…

In the beginning of this semester, I remember what a nervous wreck I was and how much pressure was put on me. Attending my second semester at UNC Charlotte on academic probation was not my first intention whenever I moved to the city of Charlotte and made the new commitment of attending a four year university. Whenever I was told that I needed to attend a class two times a week so I wouldn’t be kicked out of school, I felt nothing but shame and frustration. I was certain whenever I mentioned to my parents and my girlfriend that I was on academic probation, they would be ashamed of me.…

When looking back at this whole semester, I would say that there were a few things that I did learn. Some subjects from the book definitely stood out more than others. A few key things that I can take with myself and be easily remembered. I believe that I have learned quite a few things about myself but more on the subject itself and how to handle certain situations. Taking this class I feel helped me to get a better look on how to deal with other people, learning to react to certain situations, and not everything is in your control.…

Reflection Two – The Course Plan Review For a couple of years I have dreamed of conducting an online course for job seekers. When I was an intern I created a guide and most recently I created a course plan and directions for one session out of this imaginary course. My work as a novice as my instructor has pointed out is a “good start (McKenzie-White, 2015, assignment feedback)” Going forward with this review it is important to imagine that I am taking steps to implement this online course for job seekers of the 21st century as a novice instructional designer. The first managerial decision is the choice of platform. I have a CourseSite account.…
