I Want To Make Hawaii A Better Place Essay

"Have humility and integrity and with your perseverance, the world can be yours."-Clarence T. C. Ching. This quote made me want to make Hawaii a better place by being humble and determined to make differences. Over the past two years I have been inspired by so many people who change the world. Clarence T. C. Ching being one of many inspires me to help out in my community. I think Mr. Clarence T. C. Ching and I are similar because we both have a the motivation to make Hawaii a better place. Clarence T. C. Ching donated two buildings to Sacred Hearts Academy, which inspires me to do well in school because he shows that education is a very special thing.

I think a serious problem in Hawaii growing amount of homeless. I think that the growing population of homeless in Hawaii is odd because Hawaii is such a small island, and yet it is ranked number one in homeless population growth out of all states. Homeless are everywhere in Hawaii, it seem ironic that Hawaii is seen to be this relaxing island get away, but it actually has many homeless people walking around or living on sidewalks. Homeless people have been seen living on city streets, under bridges, cars, in front of stores, and other places. People who are jobless struggle to sustain their life, which then might result in becoming them homeless.
