We should help these veterans that want to make ends meet. They served our country thats the least we can do. All they need is a little help and resources to get on the right track. There are 144,000 veterans who are homeless on any given night (Veteran Homelessness). That is just hard to consider. We, as the people they fought for, should help them way more than we have been. This is a problem that need to be fixed right away. Tony, 48 year old, spent 15 years as a Navy Yeoman and now receives only $361 a month in disability payments from the Veterans Administration. He has also been homeless for 3 years. Why should he live on the street after risking his life for us? There is many more like him who have served and are out on the street. Why are we letting this happen? The veterans should get more government help then they do receive. We should help them get a house and job. The force life and the civil life are way different from each other. With them being in the force life for so long they are use to the military lifestyle. In the military they help you get a house and give you a job to do which puts money in your pocket. Then they leave the force lose their home and lose the money they were getting to come to the civil life to start a new life. Then they end up on the street because they can not make ends meet.
