What children learn in school is more likely all new to them, so a teacher needs to be patient and not rush a child while they learn. When a child is being stubborn or decided to make a bad choice, patience is also needed so the teacher does not yell or hit the child. A child’s mood sometimes match what others are feeling, so having a positive attitude will also help put the child in a good mood. There are lots of problem solving in working with children, for example like when two children are fighting for a turn the teacher should step in and help solve the conflict, or helping a child remember to keep their hands to themselves during circle time. Meals provided at school should include about half of the nutrients the child should take throughout the day. Sleep is very important, although everyone might not believe that. Getting some rest will improve the child’s attention, mood, and learning ability. Children need a safe environment inside and out to play, learn, and grow up to be a healthy person. What is being taught at school should follow up at home in order for the child to get a good grasp of what is being taught in the classroom. A teacher can only do so much to help the child learn and does need help with parents’ involvement. My goal for choosing Early Childhood Education as a profession is caring for every child and letting them know that they are important and that education is lots of fun. I’d help children who are struggling in learning, and work with them through play to overcome their obstacles. Being professional will include having a healthy relationship with coworkers and parents. Being an early childhood professional I take the task of informing people that working with children at a young age is more than just watching them, it includes preparing them for the future and building a foundation for a smart healthy
