I enjoy working with them even as a hobby. Additionally, the majority of my employment history includes working with children, even though on a micro level. I have worked with foster children, children with disabilities such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD), Autism, and even children who lives in a household with family members that are of a different racial background. Exploring and understanding the brilliant and adventurous minds of young children has become very fascinating to me, because there is always something new to be learned. Moreover, ensuring that they are living in a stable home, and getting the nurture that they need, is also a topic that I am highly interested in. However, with an undergraduate knowledge, a small amount of training, and the lack of a required master’s degree, I am unable to push forward with helping and working with children at the level that I so desperately desire. Hence the reason why I am hoping to pursue a masters in social work at the prestigious institution of Fordham
