As we all know when it comes to Human Resources Management there are a lot of different challenges and task that tend to take place no matter what industry it is. Every HR department that is out there has goals and strategies for the company overall success. In this report I will be focusing on a very popular company that many are familiar with and discuss their Human Resources planning process as well as the strategic process to new employees. As well as mentioning overall responsibilities within in the company.

It normally starts with the head managers of the particular department recruiting for open positions and each classification isn’t always the same, for example, when in need of a personal trainer, the candidate needs to have some type of certification to be qualified for the position. Smaller positions such as front desk or taking care of children while guardians are working out, as well as sales associates need to have at least a High school diploma or GED. Higher education or any type of certification isn’t required, but does need to have some sort of experience in that field in order to be a potential candidate for the position.
Once the head manager of that particular department ends up going through the whole interview process and ends up picking the ones he/she believe are fit for the position, the new candidates will end up filling out paperwork that is issued from Retro Fitness HR. HR has provided guidance measures which include no calls, no shows are a write up until reaching a good amount of times leading to a final termination. At Retro Fitness when dealing with Human Resources planning, the people that are in charge of handling every aspect are mostly the department managers and the actual business HR is more like a processing location for Retro Fitness. This type of strategy works well for Retro Fitness because of how well the business runs with this strategy. Retro Fitness believes the responsibility should be given to the head managers of the departments because those are the ones that are hands on with the staff and know what is going on around their department on a daily basis. Giving that type of responsibility to head department managers does tend to give out an advantage because those people are actually physically there which gives them the opportunity to see how things work and if one strategy isn’t working for them, it can be changed for a better one to see overall
