Saint Christopher’s birth date is unknown, but he was born in Canaan. According to some documents he apparently died under the Roman Emperor in 251 A.D.. He may have been named Reprobus, but most people refer to him as Saint Christopher. He is listed as a saint and a martyr. Saint Christopher’s feast day is in July 25th in the Latin Church and May 9th in the Eastern Churches. He is the patron saint of Travelers and Children. In some accounts, it says that he was super tall and people think he was a giant because of how tall he was. He was a man of significant stature and he was very spiritual and a good model and inspiration for the Catholic faith. One day he decided he wanted to serve a king greater than everything else.
