“Homework, the Real Enemy”
Homework, headaches on paper. Teachers, parents, and students all receive the ramifications of homework such as stress along with many other aspects of the effects of homework. Elementary grade students should not have to worry about homework at such an early and critical age. Countless parents have to help their child or children with their homework, which can eliminate time for other activities such as family time. Homework can actually harm children. By having to do homework they might not have time to go outside as well as exercise as a consequence they might become obese. Altogether, homework is unnecessary at such an early age. Many parents, teachers, and students would appreciate to see homework removed from the elementary school system.
Parents are tired of homework. An insurmountable amount of parents stay up late helping children finish their homework. This therefore puts more stress on parents that is unnecessary. Many parents don’t have time to assist in the completion of work the teacher assigned. In addition, according to Randy Clark, Fentress County Schools’ Curriculum and Instruction Supervisor “We don’t want kids to be unfairly penalized for their work because they don’t have the resources or support they need at home.” many people would acknowledge this statement to be extremely accurate.
