Explain Why Football Shouldn T Be Banned

Football shouldn’t be banned. It’s a sport that has brought plenty of family and friends together, and has sparked much enjoyment from people. If football was gone, what would people do to pass the time? What if football was all someone enjoyed? Getting rid of things people love and enjoy could be very detrimental to their lives. Football shouldn’t be banned for the following reasons: firstly, we can’t ban a sport just because it’s dangerous; people participate willingly, secondly, it benefits in many physical and mental ways, and thirdly, people want to see it, as shown by the millions of viewers of things such as the Superb Owl. Firstly, we can’t ban everything just because it may be dangerous. Everyone who joins participates willingly. …show more content…
They get in better shape, and they learn a bit more about teamwork and strategy. On healthfitnessbenefits.com, they state that football benefits in a few ways. Firstly, it provides a better work ethic for the players. Being able to continue working when no one else will is the key to success. Being able to do this will put these players a head of others. Secondly, the adrenaline rushes from football provide stress relief for the players. If they’re having trouble in their personal life, football can be an excellent way of relieving that. Thirdly, the overall workout of these practices they have, get them in better shape and build long-term fitness. It’s hard to deny that exercise isn’t good for you. Football has plenty of it. Lastly, teamwork. It’s emphasized by the coaches of the sport, to get the team members to cooperate. Cooperation is key later in life, when you have to work with others to get the job done. Having this skill taught is essential to younger people, and it isn’t a skill necessarily emphasized in most classes. Sites such as livestrong.com or usafootball.com state essentially the same thing.
