Should Football Be Allowed In High School

Many people are debating whether football should be allowed in high schools or not. Some people say it is a healthy activity that keeps children active. It teaches good life lessons that can be used later on in life. Others say it is too dangerous and has too many unknown long-term effects. I believe that football should be allowed in high school.
I understand that football can cause serious injuries. One of the most common injuries in football is the concussion. An average of 300,000 concussions occur annually across all sports. A study happened that estimated that high school football players suffered about 11.2 concussions for every 10,000 games and practices. College football players had a rate of 6.3.
