Imagine living away from the everyday humdrum as it provides a sharpened view on life. There is not one day that passes for us humans that we do not encounter any form of advertisement. We personally dream of the need to escape often, and how it can generally be attainable. For advertising purposes, the idea to get away is engaging, using effectiveness to portray; the use of effectiveness, and to a target audience picturing oneself there. Commercials and advertisements are key in our society, they provide a fundamental aspect in the daily life of people. Family is important when illustrating a commercial for it shows the enjoyment and comfort in a safe trip. A particular commercial promoting “Disney World,” gives insight on the perfect way to escape. It starts out in the night, children are supposed to be asleep; instead, they talk about the adventure that awaits. The idea is that the viewer does not know what event the kids are pending, causing curiosity to know that it is magical. The camera then turns to the mother who sees her children are still awake, the child then responds with “too excited to sleep.” The following scene pans out to the father who no longer is sleeping because he too cannot wait till the day of the venture. Often having catchy slogans such as “We eat time zones for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.” This is applying that this airline is flexible and if a person needs to get somewhere, they can guarantee it. The use of warm, dark colors allows for an easy appeal of the airlines, not right in someone's face. Disney has come up with their own version of advertisements when it comes to flying.
