Counting calories can be effective for many people who try it. I believe that it can only be effective to an extent. If you decide to count your calories for the soul purpose of losing weight, than it will help you for a while but it will stop working if that is all you choose to do. What I mean by this is that if you want to lose weight in a fast yet healthy way than you should do more than only counting your calorie intake.
