Next, it is important to look at promotion. We have found that our target market is people aged 8-18. It is important to target people in this age group because they are primarily the consumers that desire cheap snack foods. Furthermore, younger kids have an immense amount of influence on what their parents buy at the grocery store. Taking this into consideration, we believe it is important for our marketing team to promote our product to consumers in this age group rather than promoting it to the people who actually buy the product, their parents. Cosmic Brownies will most likely follow a traditional business model. In other words, we will buy-make-sell. We believe this is the best method because brownies are a “make to stock” type item. It is not highly specialized or customizable, therefore this is the best method. The most important factor for our product is making sure that it is on the shelf at the right location when our customer wants it. If it is not available, our customer will easily find a replacement and we will lose money. Although the stock out scenario of a customer buying something else is considered only a one time revenue loss, this could lead to a permanent brand switch …show more content…
The call center workers and all other customer service employees will be taught to focus on some key elements of customer service. These elements are time, dependability, communication and convenience. Communication will be key because we want to keep our customers satisfied and keep their business in the future. We must communicate with our customers before the transaction, during the transaction and after the transaction.To succeed at customer service we must also be dependable. This includes delivering products safely to their end destination, and making sure that all of our orders are correct.
