As CEO of a health care entity there will be a time that an explanation for continual improvement will occur and the management team, nurses, clinicians, and doctors would need to be informed of these changes to improve. There should always be a continual improvement for safety, effectiveness, patient-centered, timely, efficiency, and equitability in healthcare. Safety for patient care, such as avoiding injuries from those whom are supposed to be caring for them, is one concern that needs to be continually improved. Effectiveness is avoiding the overuse or underuse of products and services. Avoid services that do not directly benefit the patient.
