The character I would like to be is from the book and movie “The Hunger Games.” There are many characters in the book, including Gale, Peeta, and Prim, but the one that I would like to be, is Katniss Everdeen, Katniss Everdeen is the main character, in all of the series. There are two more books. The sequel is “Catching Fire” and the third and last book is “Mockingjay”. In each of these Katniss is the main character in each of the books. The reasons why I want to be Katniss, is that she is brave, and stubborn, I kind of am like her already, but she was older. The books kind of reflect the way of life in a way, of chaos and love. Katniss protects her family, in a way that I would to. Katniss would do anything for her family, as I would. She …show more content…

Or trying to protect people you think need protecting, then reassuring yourself by having other people looking after that person when you're gone. Katniss faces a lot of things as she is the mockingjay and the rebel. Because she doesn’t like the way things are going. She faces a lot of obstacles, in her way, like people who try to tell her what to do in her life. Others thinking they know what is best. And people telling her who she can love. She has to listen and do what they say against her own will, to protect her family and friends, just as I would. Katniss bottles up her feeling so no one will worry about her. She wants to tell her best friend Gale everything, but she knows that if she does she will endanger him. She is a quick thinker, and she is fast, she’s not to tall, and she’s smart. She sometimes needs guidance but she’s not careless. She also is very good at listening, but not so good at following directions. It’s hard, to understand this character for some people, but I understand this character perfectly that is why I chose
