In the novel, The Hunger Games, Katniss is challenged with a hard life of hunger and poverty. District 12 is a very destitute environment, due to the cruelness of the capital which controls it, and its inhabitants. In fact, it throws an annual “Hunger Games”, where children fight against each other to the death, for their personal entertainment! Due to these reasons, I believe that if Katniss was to visit Sugar Land, she would think great thoughts of the caring people living here. However, I also believe that she would feel sympathetic towards the unprivileged people and would attempt to help them. I believe that Katniss would feel sympathetic to the less fortunate.
